With Toshiba announcing that it will no longer be producing HD DVDs it looks like the battle for the high definition disc format has been won by Sony's Blu Ray.

So now is the time to get your high definition TVs and Blu Ray dvds.

It's about time Sony won a format war after betamax, umd movies and minidiscs.
