- New Media Age reported that online sales for February 2010 was a record £4.1 billion, with clothing, footwear and accessories’ online sales increased 17%, health and beauty sales were up 28% and online alcohol sales grew 20%.

I feel a lot of the figures come from the US market. In the UK only high St. stores have seen an increase in online sales, but have also seen a reduced footfall.
